Our fashion design/sewing techniques 'taster' courses take students through the basic skills they will need to either become a fashion designer or just use their new skills for personal use.

When you join one of our fashion design courses you will be:

• making ½ scale size garments

• learning how to insert fastenings into a garment

• Taking body measurement

• Using commercial patterns

• Cutting out patterns

• Choosing the right fabric
